Pam is from Stokesdale, NC, and graduated from Northwest Guilford High School. Growing up, she attended Stokesdale UMC. She has been married to Richard Thomas, also of Stokesdale, for 46 years, and they have a beautiful daughter, Kristen. Richard and Pam have lived in Greensboro for 30 years.
Pam began her professional career as a legal secretary, and later worked as Executive Secretary to the Comptroller at Lorillard. In 1975, she began my 30-year career with the U. S. Postal Service. Pam began working for Morehead UMC as the Administrative Assistant in 2007, about a year after retirement from the USPS. She truly feels blessed to have this position, and it is her privilege and honor to help serve the members of Morehead UMC.
Pam enjoy traveling with her family, and loves to read all types of books, but especially biographies, histories, and good mysteries. Growing up, she adored horses especially, and had a Tennessee walking horse for a few years. Pam likes to watch “old” classic movies, thus TMC is one of her favorite channels. She also enjoys shows like NCIS, Blue Bloods, Forensic Files and anything on PBS’s Masterpiece Theatre.
